209 deaths on Sunday, lower than expected until one considers that the legacy data harvesting centers were closed on July 4th and therefore unable to seed the statistics with legacy deaths that they "converted" to SarsCOV-2. Stick a fork in it people. This thing is done. Facts are stubborn things.

Deaths aren't necessarily an accurate measure of this pandemic. There's a lot of room between zero symptoms and death. Grab a another fork, that was just the first course.

what an ignorant comment. Deaths are what the CDC themselves use to classify it as an epidemic. Last week the CDC said we've approached 5.9% which is the threshold that they have set for SARS-Cov2. You can include other metrics if you want but that's just random crap you invented to support your erroneous position. Surely you must believe the CDC, right? You said you did earlier. Well unless you're smarter than the CDC. Which you may be actually.LovelyRita wrote: βMon Jul 06, 2020 1:57 pm Deaths aren't necessarily an accurate measure of this pandemic.

Not a word about deaths in that definition. Wrong again.

And?
The number of deaths during an illness does not determine if that illness has reached pandemic status. What's so hard to understand?
The other poster is using the number of deaths to support his claim that the pandemic/epidemic is improving. Unfortunately that's not what defines a pandemic. Therfor his claim is unsubstantiated by his evidence. Derp.

LMAO. Youβre truly lacking in intelligence. Well, those that can, do. Those that canβt....LovelyRita wrote: βMon Jul 06, 2020 2:43 pm "A pandemic is the worldwide spread of a new disease."

Anyway itβs apparent to me that in the future to try and level the playing field Iβll have to spoon feed you what should be common knowledge.

You've insulted me all day long. Do strong women bother you? You don't insult the intelligence of those with masculine user names.
You also didn't point out what was wrong with what I said.
Coronavirus infections are spiking and the epidemic/pandemic is far from over. Deaths aren't a measure of where we are. In fact, Science Rocks! Try it!
