Another homicide in Peoria

(Peoria, IL) - Friday, November 6, 2020, at approximately 7:06 am, Peoria Police responded to the area of the 600 block of West Corrington regarding a possibly deceased person inside of a vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult victim in the drivers seat with a large amount of blood inside of the car. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene and appeared to suffer at least one gunshot wound.

There is no suspect information at this time.

The Peoria County Coroner was on scene. Information regarding the victim’s identity will be released by the Coroner at the conclusion of the autopsy, scheduled for later today.

This incident is under investigation.
