F**k these insane trackers, this place is not a healthy debate of issues anymore, just a bunch of folks trying to outdo one another. Where is the cancel account button?
Ali, as a black woman, has a unique opportunity that past mayors did not have. She can tell it like it is to all the gang bangers in town like this mom talked to her son and not be worried about being labeled a racist.
It's a cultural problem. Until that culture is gone, the problems will continue.

She will never answer that question. She goes completely silent when asked. But yet she is totally obsessed with the subject.
People don't care how much you know.
They want to know how much you care.
They want to know how much you care.

My suggestions:
1. Hire more police officers, and pay them better.
2. Put at least 75% of the available assets in the problem areas of the city. Profiling works. These murders aren’t being committed by blonde, blue-eyed cheerleaders from Dunlap.
3. @Tazewell nailed it. Mayor Ali doesn’t just have the ability to reach out to young Black men (and boys), she has the responsibility to do so.
4. If you fail to do the above, at least save the taxpayers some money by getting body bags at a volume discount.
SO,....you agree that beating your kids works?Toldyouso wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 7:16 pmThis! ^Tazewell wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 6:22 pm Ali, as a black woman, has a unique opportunity that past mayors did not have.
