Peoria Police Homicide
PPD Incident #20-26923
(Peoria, IL) - Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at approximately 10:51 pm, Peoria Police responded to a residence in the 1700 block of W Thames regarding a report of trouble between a male and a female. Dispatch further advised responding officers the call was upgraded to a male shot in the head.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the head inside of a residence. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Peoria County Coroner was on scene. Further information regarding the identity of the victim will be released by the Coroner at a later time.
This incident is under investigation.
