This is for the Twin Cities. Normal voted to double its motor fuel tax from 4¢ a gallon to 8¢ a gallon. It will potentially bring in $1 million dollars for roads and other improvements. Supposedly, they wanted to match Bloomington's rate, approved there 2 years ago.
F**k these insane trackers, this place is not a healthy debate of issues anymore, just a bunch of folks trying to outdo one another. Where is the cancel account button?
No, I am already IN East Peoria, am aware of my fuel situation and buy gas there. And I have to go less than 200 yards from my weekly EP destination to save $.15 a gallon. And why is that? If Peoria has a five cents fuel tax, why is EP still 10-15 cents cheaper per gallon? Is there a gas truck toll bridge into Peoria that I'm missing?
Why do I feel some sort of ridiculous retort will occur in 3.........2........1...........
As of 9-22-20:
East Peoria Avg = $2.21, http://www.gaspricewatch.com/IL-/East-P ... ge-1/2.htm
Peoria Avg = $2.29, http://www.gaspricewatch.com/IL-/Peoria ... ge-1/2.htm
8 cent difference, we both stand corrected. I was under by 3 cents, you were over by 7 cents.
I'd still win on the Price is Right.

You mean its not the flu!?!
I have to agree. I buy gas when I need it, not where it is cheapest. I figure the MOST a person could save on a tank of gas is about $2 to $3.
People don't care how much you know.
They want to know how much you care.
