My latest Scenic Route showcases lots of Nativity Scenes from around the country and the world from the Peoria Area Community Festival of Nativities, hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and sponsored by several other churches. It's held for 4 days the week after Thanksgiving, and I am simply overwhelmed by the quality of the craftmanship that artists put into these scenes.

But before that, a side trip to see some beautiful Christmas lights, and some Nativity Scenes used as decorations as we prepare for the coming of the Lord.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This is interesting. On my YouTube channel, I can see how many views I get, plus likes and dislikes.

So far, there's been one view,.and a.thumbs down already.

And the only ones who could see the video since last night...would be WAP members. I have not made the video public yet or posted the link anywhere else.

I don't understand how someone could dislike a video that shows beautiful views regarding the birth of Christ? I've also gotten 1 dislike on many other Scenic.Route videos. But yet, no comment left on YT as to why.

Members like CCubs, Joepyeweed, RPlant, RambleOn, and Toldyouso have either liked the posts either here or on PDC. Who does that leave? Does another WAP member have a personal beef with these videos? If so, I'd really like to know why, other than my political views.

Have a good day. Merry Christmas.

Nicely done, Dennis.
I got to see the Festival of the Nativities with a friend. It really was an amazing display. My favorites were the tiny ones. One was inside a walnut shell half, another was no bigger than my thumbnail.

I have liked several of your scenic route videos in the past as well, yet my name is left off your list. I’d really like to know why, other than my political views?

Differences aside I sincerely hope EVERYONE who reads this post has a wonderful Christmas filled with family and friends, and for at least a day or two enjoys the peace that only Christ can provide.

As for myself i plan on doing just that. See y’all in a few days.

2 thumbs way up for that, even if a few days late. (Getting Ajax errors still when wanting to react to comments)
