Wasn't too long ago that a poster here claimed that the death rates were falling so the pandemic is over. This is awful... .
"Coronavirus infections and deaths hit records across the Sunbelt. Hospitals are stretched to the brink; morgues in Phoenix are running out of space.
Dr. Ivan Melendez, Hidalgo County’s public health authority, said it’s not uncommon for the body of a COVID-19 patient to lay on a stretcher for 10 hours before it can be removed in the overcrowded hospitals where intensive care space is running short."

Wow.
Do happen to have a source for this conspiracy? I wonder if the families of those who have passed think it's a conspiracy as well.

There was always a logical explanation for why cases rose through the end of June while deaths did not.

Yep, no chance of the White House Suppressing the Death Toll!
(Q) Did Trump Admin Remove CDC as Overseer of COVID-19 Hospital Data?
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/cdc-covid-19-data/
(A) Since the beginning of the U.S. coronavirus outbreak in January 2020, Americans relied on hospital patient data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to develop emergency plans that aimed to lessen the chances of deadly bottlenecks in the country’s health care system during the pandemic.
The CDC’s system for collecting COVID-19 data from more than 25,000 health care systems nationwide, called the National Healthcare Safety Network, compiled reports that served to help local politicians, epidemiologists, teachers, and everyone else make responsible decisions to curb the virus’ spread.
But in mid-July 2020, tweets and news reports alleged that — under the direction of U.S. President Donald Trump — the federal government changed what had become the standard data-collecting system during the global health crisis and stripped the CDC of its role managing COVID-19 hospital information. Numerous readers contacted Snopes to investigate the legitimacy of such a claim, which was first reported by The New York Times on July 14, 2020.

The Texas Tribune reported that the county morgue in the Corpus Christie County area is full. The morgue got a refrigerated trailer from FEMA to take the overflow.
Other morgues in Texas that are not full yet Are also ordering refrigerated trailers in preparation, hoping they will not need them.
