SNL hasn't been funny in over a decade. Listen how the audience barely laughs during their skits. It's actually more sad than funny. I will admit, the Weekend Update guys are pretty funny despite their wokeness. The rest of the show is a shell of its former self.

SNL is a comedy show. If it wasn't funny it wouldn't be running for 43 years. Just because (YOU) don't think it is funny doesn't mean that the majority can't see the humor in their work. It is not for everyone. Especially the people with blinders on.

"leftists aren't funny anymore"........in the political world they should not be trying to be funny. However the right wing political world is a comedy of errors with an unbelievable cast of characters. Trump and his whole family, Barr, McConnell, Giuliani, Powell, Epstein, Lindell, Greene, Cruz, and the list just goes on and on. The problem with the right wing comedy team is that it is harmful to the majority of people, so it is not funny anymore. Comical as all hell, just not funny and definitely not healthy for our nation.

I stay up long enough to see the opening skit and monologue. If wife doesn't have to be at work at 5 am on Sunday, she stays up too. Usually fall asleep after the 1st or 2nd skit.
Maybe it's just our age demographic isn't a target for the comedy they put out these days. My wife and I find it hard to laugh at some of the skits. Or maybe it's just us, who knows.
