Plant-based ground “beef”

I had the impossible Whooper and it was pretty good. However, my family eats mostly chicken and Turkey. We use ground turkey for almost everything we would have used ground beef for.

I’ve heard that the Impossible Whopper is cooked on the same surface as their beef burgers. I wonder how much real beef flavor it picks up that way.
I asked about it because we had been giving it away at the food pantry. I’d only gotten feedback from two of the clients; one hated it, the other loved it.
