Netflix indicted by Texas grand jury for airing “Cuties” in Texas. The indictment charges that Netflix did “knowingly promote visual material which depicts the lewd exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 years of age at the time the visual material was created, which appeals to the prurient interest in sex, and has no serious, literary, artistic, political, or scientific value” in violation of Texas law.

Excellent. God Bless Texas

I have not watched it. The show displayed the genitals of a child? I find that hard to believe.

So there's that.

There's also the caveat that Netflix is a streaming service, not a broadcaster. The viewer - willingly, at their own demand, watches a program. I sincerely hope the State of Texas starts visiting some of these kids beauty contests.

Child porn is okay on a streaming service? Child porn is okay if "the viewer willingly, at their own demand," watches child porn? You're seriously defending child porn?

I'm not even sure the dude knows what he's typing. He's hardwired to disagree with anything I post.

Hey, way to selectively quote me for your distorted view of what I said. Netflix is a streaming service. The viewer is guilty of the crime. Not only am I NOT defending child porn, I'm calling out the hypocrisy of turning a blind eye to kid beauty pageants by the State of Texas.
