We. Are. Peoria (Area)

We all have seen them, experienced them in our yards, against house and garages. You try to keep pulling them, but they keep growing back. Sometimes you may have small trees that you don't want, and try to control its growth. If you keep cutting just the small limbs of weeds and trees, what happens if you don't pay attention? Other weeds may grow back in their place. So what's the solution? Go after the roots. Find out what bad materials in the soil is making these weeds not go away. Using weedkiller usually works, or removing stumps; but you also may need to shift the soil around, work with it, replace bad soil with good, and then plant flowers or grass in place of it. It will take $$$ to do it, but you can let it grow, flourish. It won't happen overnight, might take a season of two. Better than just cutting branches of trees or just the small limbs of weeds. There's no way to flip a switch, and all of a sudden, all the weeds and unwanted trees are gone overnight.

Now, take this concept and apply it to people. Especially what's happened in Peoria recently. You should know what I'm talking about.

Think about it seriously, and don't call this post gibberish or rambling. It should make perfect sense to everyone here, no matter what you think.

And what if the weeds are getting bigger and bigger after, let's say 4 years?

What if a certain someone, when they should be pulling the weeds and preventing them from growing back, instead try to cover the weeds with flowers or bushes?

Unfortunately, weeds have been pulled for decades, and they just continue to grow back. All without an ambitious plan to get to the roots and remove the bad soil. Some headway has been made by other community gardners, but fortunately many more community gardners are more aware of the need of getting rid of the bad roots. They now realize it takes an entire neighborhood and city to get rid of the bad soil influences. But getting the good grass and trees planted in their place, and yielding a better environment will not happen overnight, or even in one growing season.

It seems the weeds have been getting much worse for the last two years. There doesn't seem to be any signs of weed eradication at any point in the future. It appears the main gardener is more concerned with expanding the garden instead of controlling the weeds.
