Greater Peoria Honor Flight

Both WMBD and WEEK were out at the Peoria International Airport covering the Spring Honor Flight to Washington, DC for veterans. Included were two WWII D-Day Vets. WMBD caught up with a Vietnam Vet, and a veteran who served during peacetime between Korean War and Vietnam war. Plane took off just after 7 am, and returns tonight around 9:30 pm. The public is invited to come to the airport and give them a great welcome home.
