Spot Weather

The Peoria area Amateur Radio Club is hosting a weather spotter training session with a National Weather Service meteorologist Thursday March 9, at 7 pm at American Legion in Bartonville. Amateur Radio operators throughout the area participate in storm spotting during severe weather events. The session helps spotters recognize various weather systems to report during weather alerts. This is the first in-person training session in several years, due to COVID-19 pandemic.
