Fundraiser for EP Police Officer

The Potbelly Sandwich Shop in the East Peoria Levee District is raising funds for East Peoria Police Officer Karson Klyber and his family on Tuesday, January 18. Alexandrea Brabson, general manager at Potbelly in East Peoria, said 100% of sales on Tuesday will be donated. She said she went to high school with Klyber and her husband played football with him.
She said they hope to raise $800-1,000 for the Klyber family. They are also accepting donations.
Klyber was hit by a drunk driver on Dec. 29 while on duty in a police car assisting with a different crash on Interstate 74.

I disclose that I had fun shooting this story. I'd only been in a Potbelly store once, and that was in Chicago, long before the Levee District was even built.
