Juvenile stupidity in Springfield

ok, first I realize, it's not local Peoria news. But still something to be concerned about.
This past week, juveniles were arrested for either making threats of violence via social media, or specifically a smartphone app called Yik Yak, against Springfield High School, Grant Middle School, Sacred Heart Griffin High School; in Chatham, a soft lockdown was initiated at Glenwood High School after a threat was made anonymously. Police said all suspects were caught, because online threats like this are easily traceable.
I found out about the Glenwood High School lockdown Wednesday, because my older daughter is a Spanish teacher there. They still went about their day, from 9:45 am to 11:30 am, while police & dogs searched the school.
Still scary, and even if these juveniles were trying to be funny 'copycats' of the Oxford High School shooter in Michigan, the police aren't laughing. They're arresting them and bringing charges.
