Every 6 weeks, I am on call for a week in case something happens that requires grabbing camera gear. I've done this twice, with no wakeup calls from an early morning producer. Until last night. I was still up just after midnight when I got the call to come in, cover a big fire in Hanna City. It was a garage fire that spread to a neighbor's garage, part of their house, and the house where the garage was. About 5 fire departments responded. I got home about 3 am.

I must have had a silent premonition, because I got a medium Dunkin coffee to drink at 7 pm, lol. My andrenalin kicked in.
