Today until 6, and tomorrow 11-6 at the Schnucks on University. Fundraiser for Komen Center for Breast cancer research. $5 for a brat, chips and soda. Or 2 brats for $8.
Demetrios Sanders and I shot a story out there, and they gave me a free brat. (He was offered one too, but declined) I would have paid for it, so I may return tomorrow and buy 2!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Do you 2 guys even realize how much you bitch, cry, and whine about EVERYTHING??? Seriously you 2 find fault in the most mundane things, my God take a break. Try sometime to find a positive OR, just don't say anything at all.
People don't care how much you know.
They want to know how much you care.

One of the unintentional perks of media. Folks sponsoring events a lot of times give media free bottles of water/soda or food in appreciation of media coming out to do a story on their event.
I've also gotten a free pork chop from an athletic director at a high school football game when we did a Live weather/sports at their field. Otherwise, I've bought my own popcorn or soda before heading back to the station.
At college basketball games, free popcorn, soda, or more can be had for the media under the concourse at any arena.
