Smash and grab at EP Bass Pro Shops

“EAST PEORIA (WEEK) - Two juveniles were taken into police custody Friday, one of them caught by a citizen, for allegedly stealing a pair of handguns in a "smash and grab" robbery.
East Peoria Mayor John Kahl said two juvenile boys broke the glass-enclosed gun case at Bass Pro Shops just before noon, and took off with what were believed to be two handguns.
A citizen tackled one of the suspects in the parking lot. Police caught the other suspect, according to the mayor. He said no one was hurt.“
