You, and others, routinely flaunt your personal stock market gains in a manner that suggests you don't care about what's happening with the rest of the country. This isn't the fist time your insensitivity has been brought to your attention.

That you can't see that your gains are short lived isn't surprising. You can't see the pandemic crushing the country either.

Calm down...jeez, after all it is just an internet forum, right? Isn't that what you always say? Bye, now. Enjoy your weekend.
Why do I feel some sort of ridiculous retort will occur in 3.........2........1...........

Calm down? Sure thing pal.

It's rude when men tell women to calm down. Very demeaning. Fyi.

Calm down, Francis. You've been on this forum being snide and demeaning with close to half your posts. Now suddenly we're supposed to give a shit when you're offended? Not gonna happen lady. You sewed the wind, now reap the whirlwind. Oh and thanks for the feedback.

Huge Market Crash Coming? Warren Buffett and Other Experts Sound the Alarm

"
Market bubble will burst
NBA personality and owner of the Dallas Mavericks franchise Mark Cuban shares Buffett’s sentiment. He believes the stock market’s breathless rally will end once the magnitude of the pandemic’s devastation is known. Day traders are making money thinking they are geniuses in a bull market.

Howard Marks, another billionaire investor and CEO of Oaktree Capital in the U.S., said people are buying stocks for fun. Don’t look at it as a gambling game because reckless trading is not healthy. Many thought during the dot.com era, it was a “can’t miss strategy.” The bubble eventually burst."

This probably warranted a whole new thread.... But what the heck....

How can someone misquote Stripes? That's almost as bad as my Joe Walsh / Joe Wilson moment.

Oh the feeling of the same ride, right before the tech bubble burst!

Nice tidbit on KMart stocks shortly after this commercial.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kmart
On January 22, 2002, Kmart filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection under the leadership of its then-chairman Charles Conaway and president Mark Schwartz.[56][57] Conaway, who successfully expanded CVS Corporation, accepted an offer to take the helm at Kmart along with a loan of $5 million (equivalent to $7.11 million in 2020). In a scandal similar to that involving Enron, Conaway and Schwartz were accused of misleading shareholders and other company officials about the company's financial crisis while making millions and allegedly spending the company's money on airplanes, houses, boats and other luxuries. At a conference for Kmart employees on January 22, Conaway accepted "full blame" for the financial disaster. As Kmart emerged from bankruptcy, Conaway was forced to step down, and was asked to pay back all the loans he had taken.

After dismissing Conaway and Schwartz, Kmart closed more than 300 stores in the U.S., including all the Kmart stores in Alaska, and laid off around 34,000 workers as part of the restructuring process.[58] Kmart introduced five prototype stores with a new logo, layout, and lime green and gray color scheme, one in White Lake, Michigan, and four in central Illinois: (Peoria, Pekin, Morton and Washington). The new layout was touted as having wider aisles and improved selection and lighting, and the city or town's name was featured under the new Kmart logo at the front entrance. However, Kmart could not afford a full-scale rollout.[59] The lime green prototype was abandoned for the new Kmart "Orange" concept that rolled out at several of its locations throughout the United States in 2006.

AV8R and I seldom agree on much, but I agree with him on this. I generally refuse to get caught up in the crap, so I seldom post. Didn't post much on PDC for that reason. I try to be diplomatic and respectful, regardless of what the "thought bubble" above my head might read.
Above all, be kind!
