8 cent difference, we both stand corrected. I was under by 3 cents, you were over by 7 cents.

I'd still win on the Price is Right.

But that is the average. The station closest to me in Peoria is $2.39. The station next to my parents is $2.24. And I would LOVE to know where your source got their numbers. You see very few $2.29/gallon on this GasBuddy map: https://www.gasbuddy.com/gaspricemap?fu ... 99999&z=13 Most are $2.39 and above for Peoria.

I mostly get my gas in North Pekin or Pekin, either at Casey's (have rewards program), or Kroger in Pekin, using fuel points from grocery purchases. Gas there averaging about $2.25 a gallon. One a month I splurge and fill my tank with No-Ethanol gas which runs about 60¢ more a gallon. I don't think NP has a local fuel tax, but think Pekin has one.
