New Edition of "The Scenic Route" takes a look at parks
So Summer usually means time for picnics, although I'm sure some have already done so. We know about the larger parks in the Greater Peoria area, but there are also numerous smaller parks with simple things like a shelter and playground. Others may offer basketball courts, swimming, trails, or even a place to play checkers. Check out these parks that you may or may not know about.
(Speaking of summer, The Scenic Route is taking a short pause on journeys until August so wife and I can plan a vacation ourselves, lol)
