I only saw the initial one, at 12:10 am, which indicates the coroner had yet to issue an official cause of death. This is the link to the official Peoria Police Department FB page. The post after that is from October 15th. Sorry, I don't see a PPD FB post at 1 am. Maybe PPD has more than one page.

Edit: they had homicide listed at top of the incident report, even though the posting says that the coroner had not yet declared it a homicide. Oh well. Let's hope the suspect is apprehended fast, as many have been this year.
Peoria’s 7th homicide of 2021
I wouldn’t have cheered your pointing this out if @DennisinPeoria hadn’t (wrongly) accused me of doing the same.Tazewell wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 9:37 amTranslation - Dennis spoke too soon and was wrong again.DennisinPeoria wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 11:11 pmWhich PPD Facebook page was that? PEORIA (WEEK) -- Peoria Police have opened a homicide investigation after an apparent shooting in the East Bluff neighborhood Friday evening.
Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of North California Ave. around 7:15 PM after a ShotSpotter alert registered multiple rounds had been fired.
That's just a few blocks away from OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
When officers arrived, they found a male who appeared to have been shot and was unresponsive.
The victim was taken to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The Peoria County Coroner will release the official cause of death after an autopsy, which will likely take place on Saturday.
